Is a Home a Good Investment??

If you want a steady return on your money, houses can be a sure bet.  Even though our market fluctuates constantly here in the Terrace, the overall price of homes in the past decade have increased.  Where is the market heading?  Not sure, but even if prices don't increase by a large amount, capital gains on your principal residence are tax free plus it beats paying rent.  Buying a home and having a mortgage is a powerful savings program.
